Caring, Loving, Inspiring and Making Believers of Jesus Christ.
Come join the ministries of MVBC as we strive to take steps closer to heaven and climb together in our faith in Jesus Christ.
Weekly meetings:
Sun nights 5:30 – 7:00pm Youth and children meet for a special time of fellowship, drama, games and then split for Bible study. The children’s groups are studying: Bible Thrills, Drills and Chills and will be competing in the state Bible Drill competition in the spring. The Youth are studying: The Survival Kit for Christians and learning the basics of faith in Jesus Christ. We also have a time of Music and Drama and are currently working on the Christmas play/production “The Great Christmas Giveaway” which will be presented in December.
Wed nights 7 – 8 pm RA’s ((boys)Royal Ambassadors for Christ) and GA’s (Girls in Action) meet (which involve children grades K – 5), Mission Friends (for preschoolers is available) and the youth meet for discussion and small groups on various topics of faith.
On Wed nights from 6 - 7pm, a special Sign Language/Creative worship arts team meets. This involves learning sign language to music, blacklight presentations, drama and music. It is open to all ages.

The youth have been paired up with children from within the church to be a special friend/mentor. This will involve some special activities throughout the year and involves having the youth to reach out to the children at church and during other events.
The youth are also being paired up with adults from within the church who might be interested in being a mentor to them. This program involves spending time by going to some of the activities in the teen’s life such as ball games, recitals, award ceremonies, etc. The mentors also might take the youth out to lunch, send a card, take them to a movie, etc. The purpose is to be a special friend who cares and to help them to grow in their faith by having an example of Christ’s love.
